Here it is pinned and ready for quilting. I am auditioning threads for this piece. I like the sparkle of the metallic paint and I want to maintain this, so I am leaning towards using trilobal polyester threads, which have a distinctive sheen.
At this point, I am rethinking the name of this piece - leaning toward changing it to Canyon Sun.
